Back to Tunnel 4 and this is the next bay to the north. In the 1940's it was part of the RAF Stores, in the RSG era it was occupied by The Ministry of Power and The Fire Service. The wall at the end separates the 1980's RGHQ.
This next section forms a 'H' shape, comprising two galleries linked by a small cross passage. This is the start of the first gallery as seen from Tunnel 4. The badly damaged partitioned room was the 'Committee room'.
Continuing along the gallery, past the Committee room is the Secretarial & General Administration area.
Continuing through the doorway in the previous shot you enter the 'Information Unit'.
Come back out of the information Unit and look south
back towards Tunnel 4. (Back of Committee Room to the right).
Before returning to Tunnel 4 look left at the passage that links to the next gallery. Now go back the way we came to Tunnel 4.
Moving along Tunnel 4 to the next bay to the north. The first room (partly collapsed) was the 'Secretaries' Office (Room 'S' in the plan on page 21.)
Proceed down the corridor past the 'Secretaries' Office, we see on the left the other end of the small passage that links back to the previous gallery. Note the remains of the Lamson tube system on the wall ahead.
Continuing past the connecting passage, we enter the last room in this bay, the Conference Room.
This is the same room, but now looking back towards the door we came in through and the way back to Tunnel 4.
