This is the final area to the north of Tunnel 4. This is the north east corner of the site.

These areas were part of the RAF Stores during WWII. In the 1960's they were incorporated into the RSG. From the 1980's they were unused.
There is no evidence of the RAF Stores remaining so what we see are the remains of the RSG.
It is easier to understand this area by following the plans on pages 20-21 of Drakelow Unearthed - Revised Edition (Pages 16-17 of the original version).

RETURN TO TUNNEL 4

Bay 69
Having returned to Tunnel 4 from the RGHQ area we turn east to proceed along Tunnel 4. The first bay we come to on the left was occupied by The Ministry of Works, Ministry of Transport and the Central Office of Information. The structure at the end is part of the BBC's area of the RSG.
1960's RSG9 BBC Studio
Back in 1993 John Worthington enters one of RSG9's BBC radio studios.
1960's RSG9 BBC studio
A similar view of the same studio. These studios are now very much delapidated, having largely collapsed due to the ravishes of nature and some vandalism.
Bay 88 north
If you were to continue past the BBC section you arrive at the end of this bay, looking north towards the continuation of 'First Avenue'. We will see more of this later.

T4 bay70
Returning to Tunnel 4, we move further east to the next bay. Part of the RAF stores in the '40's and a Female Dormitory for the RSG in the '60s and '70's.

toilets
Just inside this bay is a set of toilets with shower curtains still in place.
bay 70
Pass through the toilets and you enter Bay 70 Female Dormitory. Here looking North towards the back of another toilet area that's not accessible from this end.
Toilets
The other side of the wall in the above photo. Odly the plans we had for the '60's bunker show these as female toilets (info also reproduced in Drakelow Unearthed) however the evidence says otherwise!
bay 70 toilets
If you continue through the toilets you emerge from this doorway into an East-West Passage.
bay 87 toilets
Continuing north the bay opposite also starts with a set of toilets. These are recorded as male toilets.
toilets
There are toilet cubicles, washbasins and showers, so could be male or female toilets. As they are adjacent to the male dormitory and lockers at one end and an area marked as 'Army' at the other, my guess would be that they were used as male toilets.
showers
Closer view of the shower area. Shower curtains still in place. There is also an exit to the north from this toilet block.
army
Beyond the toilets, this area is marked only as 'Army'. Here we are looking north towards First Avenue.
army
Turn around to look south, back towards the toilet block.
