Blackstone Brush diesel engine driven alternator. This was the WW2 back up power supply for the bomb store, but is now disused.

The generator control panels.

World War 2 graffiti.

A sign in German?
Another sign in German! In fact we spotted several as we toured around. This was very puzzling until the quarry manager told us that in fact Eastlays was used to film some underground scenes for The Guns of Naverone and the signs never covered up afterwards. We have studied the film in detail and could find no shots of Eastlays - perhaps they ended up on the cutting room floor.
Cases of wine arrive at the top of the only incline still in use.
One of the unused areas of the old stone quarry.
